On 25.-26.04.2022 as part of the international Charlemagne Prize 2022 (Karlspreis 2022), the award ceremony of which will take place on 26.05.22 in Aachen, Germany, Veronika Tsepkalo, Svetlana Tikhanovskaya and Tatyana Khomich, who represented Maria Kolesnikova, had a number of meetings with representatives of the German Bundestag in Berlin.
In particular, meetings were held with Minister of State Claudia Roth (BÜNDNIS 90/DIE GRÜNEN), President of the Bundestag Bärbel Bas, heads of parliamentary groups in the Bundestag, Dr. Rolf Mützenich (SPD), Friedrich Merz (CDU/CSU), Katharina Dröge, Britta Haßelmann and Christian Dürr (FDP).
In addition, a press conference was also held with German correspondents.
One of the most important issues discussed at the meeting was the issue of opening a criminal case in The Hague International Criminal Court against a citizen of the Republic of Belarus A. G. Lukashenka on the article "Crimes against humanity".
