She was detained on August 9, 2020 for being at the polling station and observing the process of voting. She ended up at Akrestina detention center and was subjected to tortures. She is a person with disabilites, nevertheless it didn't stop the punishers of the Lukashenka's junta from abusing her and other women. For five days the women didn't have the access to medical treatment, they were tortured, humiliated, threatened to "cut off their finger" for not taking off the engagement ring and to be killed for not signing the protocol. There were 36 women in the cell for four persons...
This horror has become a reality for thousands of Belarusian women over the past year!
