The protest outrage happened in Belarus in August 2020.
Over 2000 cases of torture have been documented ever since. And 0 investigations regarding the tortures have been initiated.
More than 5000 women were prosecuted during the period between May 2020 and May 2021. More than 1000 women received fines. 85 women were convicted in political criminal trials.
HAVE BELARUSIANS SUFFERED ENOUGH? Violent repression continues. Killings, torture, humiliation, assault – all this is Belarusians’ new reality. For all these reasons we’ve made a claim in the International Court in the Hague.
