Julian Pahlke (Member of the German Bundestag) for Maryna Sankevich: “Maryna Sankevich is one of countless political prisoners in Belarus. She was sentenced to seven years imprisonment in a penal colony for her regime-critical publications in a telegram channel. Maryna and all people who stand up for democracy in their country despite massive repression deserve my utmost respect. I demand an improvement of the prison conditions and the access of her friends to her in the short term. It remains the case that all political prisoners, including Maryna Sankevich, must be released from prison immediately.”
Maryna Sankevich was arrested in Hrodna on 24.02.22 for a few comments in social media. And as a result, the girl was charged under 4 articles of the Criminal Code
Charges indicted:
Part 1 of Art. 293 of the Criminal Code — Organization of riots
Art. 342 of the Criminal Code — Organization and preparation of actions that grossly violate public order, or active participation in them
Art. 368 of the Criminal Code — Insulting the President of the
Republic of Belarus
Art. 130 of the Criminal Code — Incitement to hatred
On 05.09.22 the Hrodna Regional Court sentenced her to 7 years of imprisonment in a general-security penal colony.
Марина Санкевич, уроженка Старых Дорог, была задержана 24.02.22 в Гродно. Поводом для возбуждения уголовного дела стали комментарии в нескольких "запрещённых" телеграм-каналах. В итоге девушку ибвинили по 4 статьям Уголовного Кодекса.
Предъявлены обвинения:
Ст. 342 ч. 1 "Организация и подготовка действий, грубо нарушающих общественный порядок, либо активное участие в них"
Ст. 368 ч. 1 "Оскорбление Александра Лукашенко"
Ст. 293 ч. 1 "Массовые беспорядки"
Ст 130 ч. 1 "Разжигание расовой, национальной, религиозной либо иной социальной вражды или розни"
С момента задержания Санкевич находилась в СИЗО-1 г.Гродно.
05.09.22 судебное заседание вёл судья Дмитрий Бубенчик, известный своими "политическими" приговорами задолго до выборов в 2020 года. Выносил приговоры политзаключённым - Алексею Забирану, Юрию Жуковскому, Сергею Кириковичу. Марину Санкевич осудили на 7 лет колонии.
