My name is Alena Steinke. I am a fashion designer based in Berlin. Born and raised in Minsk, I moved to Berlin in 2003. I studied fashion design and I am now in the process of starting my own fashion label.
I devoted my diploma collection to Belarus. It was my way of dealing with these heartbreaking events. With my collection, I also want to draw attention to the situation in Belarus.
Fashion has a huge impact on public opinion. I call on German designers to support the Fashion for Freedom project. Stand with women of Belarus! Dedicate your collection to Belarus women who want to wear the colors they like!
