Individual entrepreneur Alena Mokharava was detained and charged with "inciting national hatred" and "cynical attitude towards the victims of the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall in Moscow."
At the end of March 2024, she wrote in a Telegram channel: "In Russia, they see only the victims of the Crocus City attack but fail to see the victims of Russian bombings in Ukraine."
While in pre-trial detention, Alena’s health deteriorated. She was placed on "bed rest," which allows her to lie down for a few hours a day. She frequently sought medical attention, and at times, was prescribed injections.
Charges indicted:
Art. 130 of the Criminal Code — Incitement to hatred
Art. 361-4 of the Criminal Code — Promoting extremist activities
Alena Mokharava was sentenced to imprisonment on September 6 and 10, 2024, by the Homyel Regional Court. The case was reviewed in a closed session by "judge" Alesya Osipova.
On November 29, 2024, the Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus considered her appeal, presided over by Dina Valentinovna Kuchuk.
On December 13, 2024, she was included in the KGB's "list of citizens of Belarus, foreign citizens, and stateless persons involved in extremist activities".

Индивидуального предпринимателя Елену Мохореву задержали и обвинили в «разжигании национальной вражды» и «циничном отношении к жертвам теракта в "Крокус Сити» в Москве. В конце марта она написала в одном из Telegram-каналов: «В РФ видят только жертвы в "Крокус Сити", и не видят жертв от российских бомбёжек Украины».
В СИЗО у Елены ухудшилось здоровье. Ей назначили «постельный режим», который позволяет несколько часов в день лежать на кровати. Она часто обращалась к врачам, а иногда ей также назначали инъекции.
Предъявлены обвинения:
ст. 130 Уголовного кодекса — Разжигание вражды или розни
ст. 361-4 Уголовного кодекса — Содействие экстремистской деятельности
Елена Мохорева была осуждена к лишению свободы 6 и 10 сентября 2024г. в Гомельском областном суде. Дело в закрытом режиме рассмотрела "судья" Осипова Олеся.
29 ноября 2024 года Верховный Суд Республики Беларусь рассмотрел апелляцию. Председатель судебной коллегии Кучук Дина Валентиновна.
13 декабря 2024 года была внесена в перечень граждан Беларуси, иностранных граждан и лиц без гражданства, причастных к экстремистской деятельности.
