Natalya Stepina was detained in March 2024, and on May 16, 2024, her preventive measure was changed to house arrest. She was taken into custody again in the courtroom. She was convicted for a comment in the "Telegram" messenger chat.


On August 13, 2024, the appeal was reviewed, and the sentence came into effect.


Charges indicted:

Art. 367 CC "Slander against the President of the Republic of Belarus"


Trial outcome 18.06.2024:

2 years of imprisonment in a general regime penal colony

Степина Наталья была задержана в марте 2024 года, 16.05.2024 мера пресечения была изменена на домашний арест. Снова была взята под стражу в зале суда. Осуждена за комментарий в чате мессенжера "Telegram".


Предъявлены обвинения:

ст. 367 УК "Клевета в отношении президента Республики Беларусь"


Решение суда 18.06.2024:

2 года лишения свободы в колонии в условиях общего режима


13.08.2024 состоялось рассмотрение апелляционной жалобы, приговор вступил в силу.
