BWF at Conference "Crimes against humanity and the recognition of Lukashenka as a terrorist"

October 11, 2021:

Veronica Tsepkalo, chair of  Belarus Women’s Foundation, took part in  a conference  "Crimes against humanity and the recognition of Lukashenka as a terrorist"” in Nuremberg, Germany.

During her remarks, Veronica Tsepkalo spoke about the Belarus Women's Foundation's efforts in gathering information on torture and sending evidence to the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague in May 2021. Despite the numerous witnesses of multiple acts of torture, violence, inhumanity, and degrading treatment at the hands of Lukashenka’s dictatorial regime, the ICC has yet to respond to our Statement of Claim.

We strongly urge the ENTIRE international community to assist in swiftly filing charges against Lukashenko and his inner circle

We urge you to recognize the Lukashenka regime as terrorists, and engage in mechanisms to bring the perpetrators of bloodshed to justice as soon as possible.

For over a year now, Belarusians have been fighting for their freedom, facing torture and violence with each passing day.

We need your help!

This cannot and should not continue!
