The Martin Luther Fearless Word Award for 2021

Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, Veronica Tsepkalo and Maria Kolesnikova have been awarded the Martin Luther Fearless Word Award for 2021.


The Organising Committee for the award said, "these three women symbolise the struggle of thousands of peaceful demonstrators for political change in Belarus."

The Fearless Word Prize is awarded once every two years to those who bravely defend their beliefs, meeting severe challenges on their way.

The award ceremony will take place on 24th April, 2021 in the German city of Worms. We hope that Maria will be able to join Svetlana and Veronica in accepting the award in person.
