Alexandra N., 56 years old
Alexandra was detained in October 2020. After her arrest, she ended up in the Central District Department of Internal Affairs, where she faced insults, threats to her family and outright lawlessness.
Alexandra was accused of disobeying a police officer and sentenced to 15 days of imprisonment in pre-trial detention center at Akrestina.
In the cell, where Alexandra and other women were held, there were no mattresses, hot water and heating. It was impossible to sleep. The women were constantly under psychological pressure.
This horror has become a reality for thousands of Belarusian women over the past year!
