Kseniya Susha graduated from the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts (BSUCA) and worked as the chief bibliographer in the research department of book science at the National Library of Belarus until November 2021. She then transitioned to IT and, for two years prior to her arrest, worked as a QA specialist at IDT, a large international IT company with branches in over 20 countries.
Kseniya has two minor children — a daughter and a son.
Charges indicted:
Art. 361 of the Criminal Code — Calls for actions aimed at causing harm to the national security of the Republic of Belarus
Art. 361-4 part 1 of the Criminal Code — Promoting extremist activities & part 2 — Promoting extremist activities committed repeatedly, or by a group of persons with prior conspiracy
The trial began in the Minsk City Court on September 2, 2024. The “judge” in the case was Sviatlana Cherepanava.
Court ruling on September 12, 2024: 3 years of imprisonment in a general-regime penal colony.
Ксения Суша закончила БГУКИ, работала главным библиографом научно-исследовательского отдела книговедения Национальной библиотеки Беларуси до ноября 2021 года. Затем ушла в IT, два года до задержания была тестировщицей в IDT, большой международной IT-компании с филиалами в более чем 20 странах.
У Ксении 2 несовершеннолетних детей (дочь и сын).
Предъявлены обвинения:
ст. 361 Уголовного кодекса — Призывы к действиям, направленным на причинение вреда национальной безопасности Республики Беларусь
ст. 361-4 р. 1 Уголовного кодекса — Содействие экстремистской деятельности & р. 2 У — Содействие экстремистской деятельности совершенные повторно, либо группой лиц по предварительному сговору
02.09.24 начался суд в Минском городском суде. "Судья" Светлана Черепанова.
Решение суда 12.09.2024: 3 года лишения свободы в колонии в условиях общего режима.
