Aksana Shaliapina graduated from the Faculty of Architecture. She is an artist working in the style of expressionism, using the impasto painting technique. Her works are held in private collections in the USA, Germany, Kazakhstan, Russia, Georgia, Belarus, Luxembourg, Finland, and Italy, as well as in the Larus Gallery (USA). She has held three solo exhibitions and is a member of the Union of Artists "Master-Peacemaker."
She was presumably detained for helping political prisoners.

Оксана Шаляпина окончила архитектурный факультет. Художник. Направление – экспрессионизм. Техника – пастозная живопись. Работы находятся в частных коллекциях Америки, Германии, Казахстана, России, Грузии, Беларуси, Люксембурга, Финляндии, Италии, а также в галерее Larus (USA). Три персональные выставки. Член Союза художников "Мастер-Миротворец".
Предположительно задержана за помощь политзаключенным.
