Ala is currently serving a 2.5 year prison sentence for insulting dictator Alexander Lukashenko. Despite having health problems, Ala was sentenced by the regime’s court to this unjust and harsh punishment. Behind every dictator there are thousands of victims of the regime, ordinary people who have dared to say something critical or to attend a demonstration. Often these people are punished on made-up charges. Let us support Ala and the Belarusian struggle for freedom and democracy.”
Ala Zuyeva was accused of leaving comments on Telegram over a period of two years — from October 2020 to September 2022. These comments allegedly contained insults directed at Lukashenko and police officers, and expressed negative opinions towards representatives of the authorities".
Charges indicted:
Art. 368 of the Criminal Code — Insulting the President of the Republic of Belarus
Art. 369 of the Criminal Code — Insulting a government official
On 02.10.23 Ala Zuyeva was sentenced to 2,5 years in a penal colony.
Ala has blood leukemia, but the judge did not take this into account during sentencing.
On 01.12.23, the MIA added Ala to the "list of extremists".
Аллу Владимировна Зуеву обвинили в том, что в течение двух лет — с октября 2020 года по сентябрь 2022 года — женщина оставляла комментарии в телеграме. Они якобы содержали оскорбления Лукашенко и сотрудников милиции и "ненормативную лексику и выражали негативную оценку в сторону представителей власти".
Предъявлены обвинения:
ст. 368 Уголовного кодекса — Оскорбление президента Республики Беларусь
ст. 369 Уголовного кодекса — Оскорбление представителя власти
02.10.23 в суде Бобруйска и Бобруйского района была признана виновной и осуждена к 2,5 годам колонии в условиях общего режима. Также она должна выплатить штраф в размере 50 базовых величин (1 850 рублей) и 2 000 рублей компенсации морального вреда двум потерпевшим.
Окончательное наказание назначено путем частичного сложения основных наказаний, а также присоединения дополнительного наказания. Приговор озвучила Ольга Серякова.
У Аллы лейкоз крови, при вынесении приговора суд это во внимание не принял.
