Love will save the world – this message from Berlin-based designer of Belarusian origin Alena Steinke, a participant in our #FashionForFreedom project, has been literally 'sewn' into her collection LOVE. The collection is dedicated to Belarusian women and their role in the Belarusian freedom movement.

On October 17, 2024, Alena Steinke announced on Instagram that her LOVE collection is being sent to the Museum of Decorative Arts in Berlin:
"Коллекция LOVE отправляется в Музей декоративно-прикладного искусства! Сегодня получила письмо с извещением, что мои экспонаты отобраны для выставки!
Эта коллекция - моя первая и самая значимая для меня! И надеюсь, не только для меня.
Она - начало нового этапа в моей жизни. А также она пришлась - я верила и верю - на начало того периода нашей общей истории, когда на смену оружию придёт человечность.
LOVE WILL SAVE THE WORLD
Из этой фразы и состоит коллекция.
Коллекция была создана в 2021 году и посвящена беларуским женщинам, их смелости, их женственности, их красоте.
Коллекция была частью проекта FASHION FOR FREEDOM, организованного Беларуским женским фондом @BelarusWomensFoundation
The LOVE Collection is Going to the Museum of Arts and Crafts!
I’m thrilled to share that I’ve just received confirmation: my LOVE collection has been selected for exhibition! This collection holds a special place in my heart, as it is not only my first, but also the most meaningful.
LOVE WILL SAVE THE WORLD —
this is the message embodied in the collection.
Created in 2021, the collection is a tribute to the women of Belarus, honoring their courage, femininity, and beauty. It was previously showcased as part of the FASHION FOR FREEDOM project organized by the Belarus Women's Foundation.
